Sneak Peak - {M} Family

It was such a beautiful day outside for pictures and I was sooooo happy to finally be back outside!!! What a fun family and the kids did so well it was a pretty quick session....little {C} just had a permagrin the whole time that I had to tell her I would need her back for some practice sessions!!

Black & White Wednesday - Time for my own

I have been pretty swamped around here lately with session...I am loving it but I needed to make time for my own girls. It was a beautiful night last night so thought it was time to take my own out for some pictures. Taya and Kya are always beyond willing but Kya just wasn't interested. I was happy I got her to join in and can't wait to show you the rest of this session hopefully soon!
I just can not believe how grown up Taya is getting...she says she is going to be a farmer and a photographer when she gets older. I always ask her how that is going to work as your busiest times for farming is spring and fall...same with photography:) I love it though.

And then there is Kya...she too has gotten so mature. We have been super busy at the school lately with preparing for Kindergarten. She is beyond excited to go everyday (I wonder is she will be saying that when she is 16!!) She wants to be a vet or a surfer girl when she gets older...hmmm....wonder how the whole surfer girl thing will go growing up in Northern Minnesota ;) But the girl loves to dream so you never know!! I wouldn't mind getting to visit her somewhere warm...but then again I would love for her to just live right next to me forever....Taya already has plans for that!

What a little model....she just does her own thing.....LOVE THESE TWO MORE THAN ANYTHING!! I definately have been holding my husband and family closer this week as one of Nick's cousin passed on suddenly after his Boston marathon qualifying run....35 years young and leaves behind a great wife and 3 wonderful kids. They are constantly in my thoughts and prayers along with his parents. He was always such a happy go lucky guy and I can just picture his smile. He grew up only a block from me so we knew his family very well. Life can end at any time and I need to make more time to enjoy my family. So happy camping is finally upon us to enjoy those weekends with them.

Black and White Wednesday - Love My Job!!

I don't know if it is just me, or if I just love my job that much, but one of my favorite things about photography is simplicity. I happen to enjoy it when kids are not cooperating perfectly. From a parent stand-point, it is so frustrating but on the other side of the lens, it is perfection to me! Kids being kids! And it seems, that is when I notice the little dimples, wrinkly hands and funny faces kids make.
So this week I decided to show a side of my sessions I usually don't post but end up liking the most!
I just love the little wrinkles on her wrists, pebbles ponytail and just the length of her hair. I also like how she is just enjoying playing with the barbie car, something that comes and goes so quickly in life. And the way she is pushing it ;)

Sneak Peak - {L} Family

I was so happy when when the {L} Family called me again to capture their family...and they were blessed with a special addition!!!
{B} was a busy little girl during her session and wanted to be doing anything but take pictures. But...I would say we got quite a few adorable ones, not very hard when you are as cute as she is!

Have to love those beautiful blue eyes!!

And isn't this one of the cutest little guys....I just love his little jeans and shirt!

And for being 1 month old...he was one strong little guy...I couldn't get a picture of him with his head down for the life of me....but I love these and it show his true personality already...determined!

The {M} Family - Tri-Birthday Month!!!

Well, I gave everyone a pre-sneak peak of this wonderful family on Wednesday with the Black and White's but wanted to give you another look at this fun session. For having 3 kids to take pictures of for their birthday's all in March, you would think it would be hectic, it was the total opposite. They all did great and when it was the littlest turn, they all helped to entertain. Even Taya and Kya got to join in (thanks S for letting them help!) Taya still is talking about what a big girl {T} is!!
Oldest to youngest...and this post is picture heavy ;)

And I know I had more of little {T}, but it was her special first birthday so I wanted to cover every aspect of her. And these were just so much fun to add...the faces of little {T}.....So Big!!


And towards the end she was just showing off for her audience! She was being silly acting like she was sleeping ;) What a fun age!

Black and White Wednesday - Pre-Sneak Peak - {M} Family

Just a quick post for Black and White Wednesday...I have been missing far too many of these!! And had the best session to add to it this last weekend. Of course they are my style of black and white but who can resist taking these with children. And this session show why I like it even more...this group of siblings definately has their own features, what a great memory.
I had to work to get some smiles out of Mr. B...but what a great smile he has!!

And gorgeous E....well, she was so quite (I am sure mom is laughing at that right now if she is anything like my girls...only quite around other people)

And last, but not least...Little T...she was turning the big one...and just hammed it up for the camera!

Sneak Peak - {K} Family

I just love capturing these ages...there is just something so innocent about them. How they start out so shy and by the end are just hamming it up. These two were no different, they were so shy until they found my girls' toys and then ended up warming up enough to get a TON of great photos!
Just love her little smile!


And little {G} was on the move but we got a few of her sitting ;)
